NASE Launches Extensive Election Information Site
With the competitive presidential race in the news daily, the November elections are on the minds of micro-business owners who are still trying to narrow down their list of candidates. To help, the National Association for the Self-Employed (NASE) has dedicated a special section of www.NASE.org to news and information about preparing for the fast-approaching day when the self-employed will cast their ballot.
“The NASE is proud to the launch the Election Watch 2008 Web site,” said NASE president Robert Hughes. “There are a lot of issues important to the way entrepreneurs operate their businesses each day, but it can be hard to sort through election rhetoric to find specific answers. The Election Watch 2008 site cuts through the clutter in order to assist micro-business owners in making educated choices before heading to the polls in November.”
The Election Watch 2008 Web site offers these helpful sections:
Meet The Candidates – Learn the views of your favorite presidential candidate in regards to micro-business issues.
Take Action – Find contact information for your representatives in Congress to let them know your opinion on issues that impact your business.
Register To Vote – Make sure you get counted in November by filing new, corrected or updated paperwork with your local board of elections.
